How to record on newgrounds

I usually use quicktime player for tutorials, the app where you can make videos on your computer. What I do is I just hit "new screen recording," and then I start recording until I'd like to think the video should be over. Then I post it on Newgrounds.

When I make an animation, I tend to animate it on a software and then put all of the frames in a file, which I then put into Shotcut which gathers up the frames and makes it a video for me. Then I post it onto Newgrounds, and wait for fame.
